Police in Stockton arrested two men after a shootout damaged a business and several vehicles in the area. The incident unfolded in the early evening hours, prompting a swift response from law enforcement. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots, which sent nearby residents and customers into a panic.
Officers arrived on the scene to find that the gunfire had not only affected the targeted business but also resulted in damage to parked cars in the vicinity. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the potential for harm was significant given the chaotic nature of the shootout.
Authorities quickly apprehended the two suspects, who were found to be in possession of firearms. Investigators are currently looking into the motive behind the altercation and whether it was gang-related or stemmed from a personal dispute.
The police department has urged anyone with additional information about the incident to come forward as they continue their investigation into this alarming event.
