Sen. John Jasinski Earns Perfect Score on Small Business Voting Record

State Senator John Jasinski, representing Faribault, has received a perfect score on the latest small business voting record from the National Federation of Independent Business, or NFIB. The organization, which advocates for small business owners nationwide, released its scorecard earlier this month, and Jasinski was among 26 Minnesota senators who aligned with the group's position on every single bill they tracked during the legislative session.

The NFIB scorecard measures how lawmakers vote on issues that directly impact the ability of small businesses to operate, hire, and grow. For Jasinski, that meant backing priorities that reduce regulatory hurdles and keep taxes predictable for Main Street employers. He said the recognition reflects his ongoing commitment to making sure the voices of local shop owners and family-run operations are heard at the Capitol.

Being one of only 26 senators to earn the full rating puts Jasinski in a solid position with business advocates. The NFIB noted that his votes consistently supported the interests of independent businesses, which form the backbone of many communities across the state. Jasinski added that he will keep pushing for policies that help small companies thrive, since they create most of the jobs in Minnesota. The scorecard serves as a clear signal to voters about where he stands on economic issues heading into the next session.
