Cerebras Systems Fast Inference Cloud Business Nearly Quadruples in Second Quarter 2026

Cerebras Systems, the company behind what it calls the world's fastest AI infrastructure, announced Tuesday that its fast inference cloud business saw explosive growth in the second quarter of 2026. The company reported that GAAP cloud revenue grew 281 percent and core cloud revenue grew 287 percent compared to the same period last year, with the business nearly quadrupling in size.

The company also revealed it now has 600 megawatts of data center capacity under contract. This expansion is backed by a manufacturing pipeline that is set to scale more than tenfold throughout 2026, positioning the firm to meet surging demand for AI compute.

A major highlight from the quarter was the company's role as the launch partner for OpenAI's frontier model, GPT-5.6 Sol. This partnership places Cerebras at the center of high-performance AI deployment. new collaborations with AMD and AWS have cemented the company's status as a leader in disaggregated inference, a method that separates compute resources to boost efficiency and speed.

The results signal a strong quarter for the Sunnyvale-based company, which trades on the NASDAQ under the ticker CBRS. With capacity expanding and key industry partnerships in place, Cerebras is moving aggressively to capture a larger share of the AI infrastructure market. The company's focus on speed and scale appears to be paying off as enterprises and research labs increasingly demand faster processing for large language models and other advanced AI workloads.
