Businesses in the Golden Triangle are optimistic about a potential surge in patronage following an executive order signed by former President Donald Trump. The order, which mandates that all remote federal employees return to their offices, is seen as a catalyst for local economic revival. Ryan Nguyen, the owner of 68 Café, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “That’s definitely going to help us quite a bit.”
Nguyen noted that since the announcement, his café has already seen an increase in foot traffic from office workers returning to the area. This trend is expected to continue as more employees transition back to in-person work. Local business owners are hopeful that the return of federal workers will not only boost their sales but also revitalize the community atmosphere that has been lacking during the remote work era.
The Golden Triangle is gearing up for what many hope will be a significant economic rebound as the workforce returns to its offices, breathing new life into the local economy.
