Relmada Therapeutics has released its financial results for the first quarter of 2026, alongside a business update that focuses heavily on its lead oncology candidate, NDV-01. The company reported positive 12-month Phase 2 data for the treatment, showing a 95% complete response rate at any time in high-risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. The durable response rate held at 76% at the 12-month mark.
In the BCG-unresponsive subpopulation, results were similarly strong. The complete response rate at any time reached 94%, with a durable rate of 80% at 12 months. Relmada management described these figures as reinforcing the drug's best-in-class potential in the NMIBC space.
The company also confirmed it remains on track to launch the Phase 3 RESCUE registrational program in mid-2026. That program will target two specific areas: second-line BCG-unresponsive disease and adjuvant treatment for intermediate-risk NMIBC. The filing of a related patent was also noted in the update.
Financially, the company did not disclose major changes in cash position or burn rate, but the focus on the upcoming Phase 3 trial suggests a significant capital need in the near future. Investors are watching closely as Relmada moves toward what could be a pivotal year for the drug's development.
